Welcome to St. Peter's United Methodist Church

Children's Ministries

What we do...

St. Peter's Children's Ministry program encourages and inspires children to build a lasting relationship with Christ. Through our ministry we partner with parents to help our children grow in their knowledge of God.

How we do it ...

Our ministry runs year round. From Sunday school to Vacation Bible School to Upward Basketball & Cheerleading, our programs provide opportunities to connect in fellowship, serve in love, and grow in faith. We invite you to particpate in our ministries and events!

Sunday Mornings

NURSERY for infants - 2 year olds

Childcare is available in our nursery, adjacent to the sanctuary, for both the 9:30 and 11:00am services. However, little ones are always welcome in church!

9:30am Worship

This service is our contemporary worship. We are trying something new! This fall we are integrating both children (K-5) and youth into our worship experience. They will have a separate place to sit in community with one another, activity bags related to the sermon, and roles in the service.

Our PreK children are invited to attend Sunday school at this time. The children will meet in the Orange classroom in the preschool building. Age-appropriate lessons, crafts and activities will be provided.

11am Worship

Sunday school for all ages is held during our traditional worship service. It is a large group format that meets in the Fellowship Hall.

Drop-off is 10 minutes prior to service.

Children's Arts

Coordinator of Children's Arts

St. Peter’s believes strongly in what the psalmist says, “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

Our Children’s Choirs/Arts Program meets during the school year. They combine singing, movement, acting and other creative elements to learn about the glory of God. This is a wonderful foundation for children as they begin to grow in their knowledge of God and Jesus, while having fun with their peers.

There are two groups based on the child’s age. Both groups meet on Fridays and follow the Palm Beach County School Calendar. The children sing one to two times a month and rotate between the 9:30am and 11am Sunday Services. They perform a Christmas musical for the 5pm Christmas Eve Family service. There are various other fun events at St. Peter's at which the children's choir will perform.
