Shalom ... from Israel!

   Yes, I am writing this prayer letter from Israel. God has really
blessed me because this is my second visit to Israel within this year. The first time I was here in January, helping our president, Dr. Glaser, with ministry issues. Now I am in Israel again, but with a different kind of ministry: I brought a group of thirty Russian speaking believers from the West Coast of the United States for a teaching tour here in Israel. This is an answer to prayer; I was praying for just such an opportunity. I hope you understand what a great blessing I have, as well as a big responsibility.
    We are now in the middle of the tour, but already I can see fire in the eyes of my listeners as I teach them and they see and understand the deep meaning of the Scriptures here in the Holy Land; really, geography can make your theology. Another exciting opportunity provided by this trip is that the people from our group are able to witness to Israelis in a very gentle and loving way about Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel and Savior of the whole world. And even more significant than the pleasure we have on this tour is the knowledge that God has used us, all of us, as His tool to save this dying world: " ... first for the Jew, then for the Gentile." Please pray that this tour will have a profound spiritual impact and for the fruit it can produce.
   I also have one more prayer request. A few weeks after you receive this letter, my wife and I will be going to Boston. A Russian speaking Messianic congregation has invited us to do the teaching on a variety of Messianic topics at their summer retreat. It is going to be quite an interesting and challenging experience. Please pray for a spirit of wisdom, love and unity during this retreat.
    In both our physical and spiritual families (Congregation Beit Hassed El), everything is going well. I want to thank you for your prayers and faithful support. Special thanks for your prayers for my son's salvation.
