DISCIPLE
Bible Study I – Becoming Disciples
Through Bible Study |

DISCIPLE I is the “foundational
overview.” It serves as the basis for all
other studies in the DISCIPLE family that follow
it. Over the course of 34 weeks, DISCIPLE I covers
the entire Bible (Old and New Testaments) chronologically
following the complete story of the relationship
between God and his children. Participants will
learn to look beyond what a scripture says to
ask “What is God saying to me?” Choose
one:
Meeting time: Each Tuesday morning
for 34 weeks

DISCIPLE
Bible Study II – Into the Word,
Into the World |
|

|
Disciple II is a 32 week
in-depth study of Genesis, Exodus, Luke, and Acts.
It builds on the biblical knowledge gained from
Disciple I and deepens it by probing selected
portions of Scripture. Two emphases are the Sabbath
and taking what is learned in the study and putting
it to work in the world.
Meeting time: Each Sunday evening
for 32 weeks
Orientation: January 6
Cost: $30.00 for the study manual
Leader: Ann Lewis
As you consider participating in one of these
classes, please remember:
• These studies involve daily Bible reading.
• Your group will meet each week for 2 hours.
Participants are asked to be in attendance each
week.
• Class size is limited, so early registration
is suggested.
• You are officially registered when you
submit your check (made payable to St. Peter’s
United Methodist Church) to Rachel Lever.
