Statement
To serve the Lord by proclaiming His Good News through
our actions and by bringing others to His healing power
and grace, providing for all a loving fellowship of the
concerned and accepting body of Christ.
Patricia Banks - Administrative
Director
Miss Pat has been the director at C.E.C. since 1996. She
was a 4 year old teacher for eleven years prior to joining
the C.E.C. team. Pat is a graduate of Western Carolina
University with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Pat and her husband Mike live in Royal Palm Beach and are
the parents of two sons, Michael and Justin. Scrapbooking,
jewelry making and reading are Pat’s favorite hobbies.

Sally Hebert - Administrative Assistant
Miss Sally became the Administrative Assistant in 1993 when her
youngest daughter Salina attended C.E.C. Her older daughter,
a Senior in High School, also attended C.E.C. .Sally is a graduate
of Palm Beach Atlantic with a B.S. degree in Business Administration.
Sally and her husband David and their two daughters live in Royal
Palm Beach, they share their house with 2 cats, a rabbit, a parrot,
and a pond full of fish.
Patti Thomas - Music and
Movement Teacher
As the Music and Movement teacher, Miss Patti encourages
all the children to express themselves musically. They
love all the songs, stories, and movement activities
Miss Patti leads them in. Patti is a graduate of the
University of Wisconsin, with a degree in Music Therapy.
Kevin and Patti’s three children, Maria, Sean and
Teddy keep them busy with their many activities. In addition
to teaching Music Miss Patti plays the piano, guitar
autoharp and recorder.
Suzi Ferraro - Bible Enrichment Teacher
Miss Suzi joined the C.E.C. team in 2002 as the Bible
Enrichment Teacher. She is a graduate of Illinois State
with a Bachelors and Masters in Political Science . Suzi
and Mike and their two sons, Nicholas and Lucas. live
in Wellington. In her free time Suzi has a small business
making beautiful personalized pillow cases for children.
Our Team of Teachers:
Gloria Bueschel is the 3 year old
teacher in the Blue Room. Gloria began teaching at C.E.C. in 1989.
(Her first class here at C.E.C. are Juniors in High School!) Gloria
and her husband Walter are very active with their Sunday School
class. Gloria has two daughters, Christi and Jeni, and is the grandmother
of 4. Her hobbies include scrapbooking and researching her families
genealogy.
The 2 day teacher in the Red Room is Teri
Capobianco. This was Miss Teri’s first year teaching
here at C.E.C. prior to teaching she worked as an assistant Teri
and her husband Sal have three boys who keep them really busy with
sports. Miss Teri enjoys jewelry making and scrapbooking in her
free time.
Miss Debbie De Long is
the Pre-K teacher in the Green Room. She came to work
for C.E.C. in 1986 working in various positions, first
at an assistant later as a teacher. She have a Liberal
Arts AA degree as well as her Child Development Degree.
Debbie and her husband Billy have two daughters, Tara
and Jennifer. Debbie’s outside interests include
crafting and gardening. In the classroom Miss Debbie
encourages the children’s love of science.
Pam Gilbert joined the
C.E.C. staff when the school was formed in 1984. Pam
is a graduate of Ohio State University with a BS in education.
Pam has a natural talent for teaching and working with
children, she encourages an early love of learning. Pam
and her husband Lee have three children Katie, Lori,
and Andy (who all attended C.E.C)
Traci Picknell is also
an Ohio Buckeye. She earned her degree in Education from
the University of Toledo. Miss Traci is one of the Pre-k
teachers who share the Yellow room, she joined the C.E.C.
team after her daughter Kelsey attended C.E.C. Miss Traci
and her husband have two other children, Tarah and Anthony.
Working with children is also an important part of Traci’s
free time, as she is an assistant cheerleading coach
for her daughter’s team.
Anne Riepma has been a
Pre-K teacher at the Child Enrichment Center since 1989,
Anne is a certified Montessori teacher and has taught
preschool for 22 years. Anne and her husband Martin have
two daughters Kate and Lyndsy, both of whom are graduates
of University of Central Florida. In her free time, Anne
enjoys collecting antiques, visiting museums and reading.
JoAnn Villona is in her
3rd year teaching the Junior Kindergarten class here
at C.E.C. JoAnn attended Molloy College in New York.
Prior to moving to Wellington JoAnn taught preschool
in New York. JoAnn and her husband Ralph have two sons
Jordan and Justin. In her free time, JoAnn enjoys decorating
and landscaping their house.
Miss June (Zuehlsdorff) is
the 2 1/2 year old teacher. She is extremely patient
and loving with the youngest children at C.E.C. Parents
have said that every child should have a Miss June to
start them on their educational path. With a degree in
graphic art, June enjoys encouraging the creativity in
the children. June and her husband Eric have two daughters,
Lauren and Andrea and a son John.
Our terrific team of Teacher’s assistants
include:
Chris Abaldo helps us
in many areas. She is the assistant in both the Red and
Blue rooms, and she helps with the Lunch Bunch children.
The Abaldo family moved to Wellington from the New York
area. She and her husband Guy have 2 children, Kara is
a drama major at Fl. State and Chris is in highschool.
Chris is enthusiastic about walking and swimming.
Cheri Barton is the assistant
with 6 classes which keeps her really busy. Cheri is
a native Floridian, born in the Keys. Cheri and her husband
Gary have two sons, Joshua and Nate. During the summer
months Cheri works in North Carolina for Recreation Ministry.
In her spare time Cheri enjoys walking and reading.
This is Mildred Crespo’s third
year working in the Pink Room, she really enjoys the
four year old children. We depend on Millie’s bilingual
ability to help us with Spanish speaking adults as well
as children. Millie has her Child Development Associates
Degree Millie and her husband Mario have two sons Mario
and Marcus. Millie has a great sense of humor and even
collects :”happy roosters”.
Michelle Schwetz is our
Lunch Bunch Assistant. She has two active boys, Jordan
and Dawson. Michelle has her AAS in Business Administration
from a small school in New York. She enjoys gardening
and activities with her boys.
Lorraine Vendryes (Miss Lori) works
as the assistant with the Pre-k children in the Yellow
and Purple rooms. Lori worked as a teaching assistant
at Cypress Trials Elementary School prior to joining
the C.E.C. team. Artie and Lori have two children, Stacy,
is a teacher at Wellington Elem. and Jason is a Junior
at The University of Central Florida.
Cindy Weglewski works
as the Blue and Red Room assistant on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
As the parents of 4, Julie, Brian, Jackie and Austin,
Cindy & Rob stay very busy. Cindy is her daughter’s
girl scout leader, and also works with the scouts on
a district level with event planning. Scrapbooking and
reading are two of Cindy’s hobbies.
